Denver to Host 2012 ECE/Pre-K Design Conference

In recognition of the role of the environment as a critical component of learning, the 2012 Early Childhood Education (ECE) Design Conference will take place at the Auraria Campus in downtown Denver, Colorado.

The ECE Design Conference will bring together nationally recognized experts and thought leaders to highlight best practices and cutting edge research in designing, developing and managing high performance learning environments for early childhood education.

A tremendous amount of dedication is required to design and manage learning spaces for young children, and it is often hard to find the right people with the expertise to make these spaces a reality. This conference will bring those connections closer for people that share the mission to create the most innovative learning environments possible for young children.

The organizers of this conference include architects, developers, designers, operators and policy makers in the field of early childhood education who are dedicated to making this information more accessible. This ECE Conference offers a unique opportunity to build relationships and share knowledge with potentially 250 individuals and organizations committed to improving the quality of early childhood educational environments. Conference participants from across the country will be provided the opportunity to be inspired and gain access to the latest resources and tools in the world of early childhood education and design.

Conference topics will include:

  • Neuroscience research on learning environments
  • Environments that foster creativity
